JOVA BEACH PARTY
Lorenzo Cherubini, known as Jovanotti, returns after the huge success of 2019 with his new travelling tour across the whole of Italy. More than 20 dates, between July and September 2022, where once again a party open to all will be staged, children included, which from the early afternoon until late into the night will get thousands of people dancing and singing.
EVEN GREATER ATTENTION TO THE ENVIRONMENT AND ITALY’S BEACHES
The Jova Beach Party is the first major travelling event in the world to talk about the environment, and it does so while bodies are in contact with nature in its most ancestral and magical form. It is produced and organised with the greatest possible attention to sustainability, thanks to the deep conviction of its creator, who for 2022 raises the bar even higher. With the WWF and Intesa Sanpaolo, after the 2019 collaboration, an ambitious new initiative is in fact born: “Ri-Party-Amo: let’s clean up and recover 20 million square metres of beaches, lakes, rivers and seabeds”.
A nationwide mobilisation that aims to raise 5 million euros by supporting and promoting three areas of intervention on the environmental, social and cultural level. Thanks to Ri-Party-Amo, 20 million square metres will in fact be cleaned and recovered, infrastructure works of naturalistic engineering will be made possible in 12 areas at risk, and more than 100,000 students will be involved with specific lessons, along with the donation of at least 10 scholarships. The entire collection will be carried out thanks to For Funding, the crowdfunding platform that brings together people and organisations who care about concrete charitable projects, and it will be documented with the utmost transparency.
“MEDITERRANEO”: THE NEW PROJECT
Every date will have a unique programme, where the blending with many artists from all over the world is guaranteed. Together with his greatest hits, with a setlist that will never be predictable, Lorenzo will also bring his new Project to the stage: “MEDITERRANEO” , a new chapter of “Il Disco del Sole” with 8 previously unreleased tracks. “It is all warm, breezy and tasty stuff. The Mediterranean is a concept, a presence, a backdrop, an inspiration, a place, a sea, a hope, a pain, an open question, a great story and above all a symbol of exchanges, adventures, journeys, encounters, sounds, loves, promises”, says Lorenzo.
Straight to the heart, simple and mysterious. Shot on the outskirts of Milan, the video, directed by Leandro Emede, shows Jovanotti in the middle of a warehouse. A cold place but with great potential: the objects are ready to be delivered, the parcels sealed, ready to be opened. But as darkness falls, the music takes over the space, the colours of the lights bring it to life, transforming it into a magical place. And the protagonist, a warehouseman in uniform, becomes a rockstar dancing among the crates, between the bays of the warehouse, and higher still, climbing the tallest stacks of crates, also driven by a new lifeblood. Over the course of the song everything changes, just as the encounter with love transforms us and suddenly makes the world a magical and colourful place.
Presenting the project of the new chapter of “Il Disco del Sole”, Lorenzo adds: “I love these songs, I thank them. For me these songs are blessings. They are ‘thank-yous received’, and I love them so much that the joy of releasing them only comes after the joy of having written them and having seen them born and grow up to the moment when, today, I share them with everyone. In recent years the Mediterranean has revealed itself to me as a sacred place, a rediscovery and an invitation to travel even though I have not moved a single step, as has happened to many people recently. In the Mediterranean, where everything was born, the routes of sailors and the gods, I immersed myself to be reborn, and I was moved and thrilled”.

Three months from the debut of the Jova Beach Party, many stops are heading towards a sell-out. In addition to the 9 July stop in Marina di Ravenna, Lignano Sabbiadoro (2 July), Barletta (30 July) and Viareggio (3 September) are also close to selling out.
