Italian Republic Day was celebrated in Bern with the participation of at least six hundred guests. The presentation of the SAIS diplomas for four doctoral theses, the unveiling of the work by Oliviero Rainaldi acquired by the Embassy and the moving performance by Elena Bellantoni enhanced a reception made possible by the many Italian and Swiss companies that supported us. Swiss Deputy State Secretary Patric Franzen replied to the speech of Ambassador Silvio Mignano. The national anthems of Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Europe and Italy were performed live by a soprano and a pianist of the Teatro comunale di Bologna.
