From 5 August, the Green Pass will be mandatory everywhere indoors in Italy

The pass is valid with at least 1 dose of vaccine or, alternatively, you will have to prove that you took a negative swab test in the previous 48 hours or that you recovered from Covid in the previous six months. The vaccination passport will be required to access a table in restaurants and bars indoors (it is not required outdoors or at the counter), as well as for gyms, cinemas and theatres, including open-air shows, but also for spas, swimming pools, trade fairs, congresses and competitions.

This summer, let us say goodbye to the nightclubs. The sector continues to be forgotten by the government, which has decided that dance floors will remain closed: no entry to dance venues, not even with the Green Pass. The green certificate will also be needed to enter stadiums and go to concerts. For major cultural and sporting events, the thresholds to be set are still being discussed: the hypothesis is between 25 and 30% of indoor capacity, and between 30% and 50% outdoors. For the time being, the green certificate will not be required to travel by train, plane and bus. The question of movement and transport has been postponed to a later time and to the availability of new data. These were the first words of Mario Draghi: “The Green Pass is not an act of arbitrariness, but a condition for keeping economic activities open”

The extension of the state of emergency until 31 December 2021 is also confirmed.
