Fresh from two concerts at the Arena di Verona last May and from a tour of Latin America, Il Volo arrives in Switzerland with a single “Live in concert” show together with their orchestra.
The trio behind “Grande amore” will take the stage of the famous Zurich Hallenstadion on Sunday 17 September 2023 at 8.00 pm. The show will see the trio perform live both their best-loved songs, also included on the album “10 Years”, and the new tracks taken from their latest record “Il Volo Sings Morricone”, dedicated to the immeasurable Maestro.
Italian musical group made up of two tenors and a baritone, which made its debut in 2009 as individual contestants on the Rai 1 talent show “Ti lascio una canzone”. In the young trio Piero Barone takes the role of baritone, while Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble take the tenor roles. They are noticed by Michele Torpedine, the manager who believed in Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero, Giorgia and Biagio Antonacci, and who decides to embark, for them and with them, on an international artistic path, counting on their extraordinary vocal gifts both individually and as a trio. In a short time they become the first Italian artists in history to sign a contract with an American record company of the global music industry, Geffen Records. From then on their career takes flight.
