Eros Ramazzotti postpones world tour to 2027 and 2028: Switzerland awaits Zurich and Lausanne

Eros Ramazzotti had to stop. Just weeks before the start of the American leg of his "Una Storia Importante World Tour" / "Una Historia Importante World Tour", the Roman singer-songwriter underwent vocal cord surgery that forced him to revise the entire calendar for the coming months. The artist had closed the European leg a few months ago: between 11 February and 27 June 2026 he had filled the arenas of Paris, Strasbourg, Brussels, Munich, Oslo, Frankfurt, Prague, Barcelona and Madrid, as well as major stadiums in Italy, from San Siro to Rome's Olimpico. Departure for North America was set for 16 October in Toronto, but the recovery time indicated by doctors made it impossible to keep that schedule.

It was Eros himself who announced it on social media, with direct words and no beating around the bush: "The vocal cord surgery went well", he wrote in Italian, Spanish and English, adding however that "my doctor has imposed a rehabilitation programme that will not allow me to be ready for rehearsals and departure for the dates in the USA, Canada and Latin America, for which unfortunately we will have to wait until 2027". A message that ends with a promise: "We will meet again stronger and more united than before".

The new calendar for the American continent, according to information released by the organisers, starts on 24 September 2027 in Toronto, continuing through Boston, New York (Radio City Music Hall on 2 October), Chicago, Miami (Kaseya Center on 8 October) and Los Angeles, where the tour will close on 16 October at the YouTube Theater before heading to Mexico and South America, from Mexico City to Bogotá, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

The two Swiss dates: Zurich and Lausanne

Those in Switzerland waiting to see Eros live again will have to wait for the European leg of the tour, rescheduled for spring 2028. Swiss audiences will have two opportunities: the Lausanne date is already confirmed while the Zurich one will be announced shortly by the organisers. Tuttoitalia.ch is official media partner of the artist's Swiss tour and will closely follow every update on the two stops.

The first stop is Zurich, at the Hallenstadion: the precise date has not yet been communicated, but the organisers report that information about the concert will follow as soon as possible. This is a city that Eros knows well, having visited it several times during his career and which had welcomed him with a sold out even in the first part of this same tour.

The second date takes us to Lausanne, where the artist will perform on 2 March 2028 at the Vaudoise Arena: this is the new date set after the postponement, replacing the one originally scheduled for 2027. Tickets already purchased for the Lausanne concert remain valid for the new date.

The two Swiss stops are part of a broader return to Europe, scheduled for spring 2028, which according to information reported by the organisers will also touch Luxembourg, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Mannheim, Grenoble, Montpellier, Pamplona and Valencia, as well as new Italian dates and the usual venues already frequented such as Amsterdam, Brussels, Munich and Barcelona. The tour, produced by RadioRama and distributed by Friends & Partners and Eventim Live International, had already collected numerous sold outs before the setback related to the artist's health.

For those following Eros from Lugano, Zurich or Geneva, the news brings a double feeling: on one hand disappointment at the longer wait, on the other the certainty that the appointment, although postponed, remains confirmed. A tour that, as fans of the Italian community in Switzerland have long recounted, continues to represent one of the few moments when Italian music truly fills Swiss arenas.
