Ludovico Einaudi adds a new and significant stop to his concert journey, announcing a second date in Zurich on 14.05.2026. For the first time in his career, the Italian composer and pianist will give two concerts on the same day, both at the Tonhalle Zurich, one in the morning at 11.15 am and one in the evening at 8.00 pm.
The decision stems from the immediate success of the evening concert, which sold out just two hours after sales opened. An extraordinary response that made it necessary to announce an additional morning concert, conceived as a special and rare occasion for the Swiss public.

The 11.15 am concert will be an unamplified solo piano performance, set in the elegant and intimate surroundings of the Tonhalle Zurich. A performance that promises an experience of great intimacy, in which the sound of the piano can express itself in its purest form. Einaudi, for years an absolute protagonist of the international music scene, continues to follow a coherent and recognisable artistic trajectory, made of minimalist essences, suspended melodies and writing capable of naturally blending classical music, pop and cinematic suggestions.
This double date also represents something unique from a symbolic point of view. Inviting the audience to a late-morning concert means proposing a different relationship with time and with listening, offering a space of concentration and emotional depth far from the usual rhythms of the evening. An experience designed for those who wish to devote themselves to the music with attention and presence, letting themselves be carried by a sound language that grows slowly and leaves a lasting mark.
The concerts on 14.05.2026 at the Tonhalle Zurich will be Ludovico Einaudi’s only Swiss dates.
For tuttoitalia.ch, this double performance once again confirms the deep bond between Ludovico Einaudi and his audience, capable of recognising and rewarding an authentic, coherent and highly sensitive artistic proposition.
