And that is what last night's show was like, in which Baglioni did not only bring to the stage his, and by now “our”, songs of a lifetime, but a real show that gave us an energy and an enthusiasm that pleased even those who do not love this musical genre. Modern choreographies of extraordinary visual impact accompanied a set list that, starting from “Questo piccolo grande amore”, “E tu”, “Strada facendo”, “Mille giorni di te e di me” through to “Con voi”, had the entire Hallenstadion singing for two hours of concert, in which the fans' standing ovation was an uninterrupted succession of applause and choruses. But also with the odd anachronistic lighter, in memory of other times. Claudio Baglioni proved to be vital, elegant, captivating, a professional who gave voice to the best of Italian discography and showed himself to be the idol so many were cheering. Fundamentally good, truly good at leading us back through a piece of history: “Welcome home” was his greeting, and more than ever we all felt a little part of that Italy which knows how to give its best with artists of this calibre.
