“Su di noi nemmeno una nuvola, su di noi l'amore è una favola” sings the audience at the Volkshaus in front of the stage where an energetic Enzo Ghinazzi, known by his stage name Pupo, is performing. And it really is a fairy tale that his fans are living, having flocked to see him again after so many years in Switzerland: years in which Pupo never stopped, proving himself an eclectic artist who has successfully taken on the roles of singer, writer, presenter, voice actor and commentator, between stages and television studios. Not a single cloud? Yes, the storm clouds are something Pupo has indeed experienced in his career.

And he admits it, with a touch of irony, from the Volkshaus stage too, with the result that he is appreciated even more for the sincerity with which he presents himself in the hall. There is talk of many years of success, of the 1980s of course, but also of more recent songs that are more meaningful to the author, such as “Porno contro amore”. Pupo, with countless photos of his career behind him capturing him alongside friends and artists who have accompanied him all this time, becomes for the audience a ferryman who, from “ciao” to “Santa Maria Novella”, from “Gelato al cioccolato” to the famous “Su di noi” of our days, takes his fans on a journey through time, warming the hearts of the many Italians seated in the rows of a completely sold-out theatre.
