Arriving on 25 December in Swiss Pathé cinemas, “Cortina Express” is a Christmas comedy directed by Eros Puglielli, set during the holidays in a lively and festive atmosphere. During the Christmas season, the streets, the alleys and the ski slopes of Cortina fill up with very different people, united by the desire to have fun in an enchanting setting of snow-covered mountains.
Among the characters who populate this story is Lucio De Roberti, a charming bon viveur who arrives in Cortina with a double aim: to enjoy himself and to save his nephew from a disastrous marriage. At his side is Dino Doni, a former music star trying to revive his career and win back his daughter's affection. Completing the picture is Patrizia Giordano, an energetic record producer who has to face the risk of bankruptcy while dealing with the complications caused by a somewhat reluctant husband.

Amid the magic of Cortina, all these characters and many others find themselves in hilarious situations, in plots where each one tries to reach their own personal happy ending. After “Gli idoli delle donne” (Women's Idols) in 2022 and the series “Gigolò per caso” (Gigolo by Chance) in 2023, Eros Puglielli returns to the big screen with “Cortina Express”, this time directing on his own.
The screenplay was written by Puglielli together with Tommaso Renzoni, while the cinematography is by Emanuele Pasquet. Editing is by Roberto di Tanna, with production design by Marta Marrone and costumes created by Monica Celeste. The original music is composed by Francesco Cerasi. The film is produced by Be Water Film in collaboration with Prime Video and distributed in association with Medusa Film.
Filming for “Cortina Express” took place over six weeks between Rome and Cortina d'Ampezzo, in selected locations such as Corso Italia, the Hotel Cortina and Ampezzan Fiori. The main cast brings together well-known names such as Christian De Sica, Lillo Petrolo, Isabella Ferrari, Paolo Calabresi, Ernesto D'Argenio, Francesco Bruni and Beatrice Modica, promising a brilliant and engaging performance.
