In a town on the border of Italian Switzerland, the hottest summer in recent years saw the growth of Samuel, a 15-year-old struggling with the most important moment of his young life. Samuel is an introverted boy who channeled his inspiration and his need for communication into drawing. He invented the character of Aline, a lively and determined girl who solves cases that even the police cannot solve. He talks to her in an uninterrupted ping-pong table between fantasy and reality. Determined to face a doubt that torments him and prevents him from fully living his age and his talent, he hires a private detective. With him, he embarks on a daring adventure that leads him to tackle a deeply hidden wound and discover the painful truth - linked to his family's past - that his father had hidden from him until this day.
