At the event, organised by the Colonia Libera Italiana of Dietikon, at the Stadthalle in Dietikon (ZH), families with young children take part, identifying with their favourite characters such as Superman, Batman or little princesses.

But even the grown-ups do not miss the chance to transform themselves for a few hours. The hall is indeed packed with pirates, clowns, fake convicts, ladybirds and, of course, the unmistakable masks of the Carnival of Venice.
