As the winner of the 2023 Sanremo Festival, Marco Mengoni has once again confirmed his leading role in Italy and far beyond. He is considered one of the most innovative and highly regarded Italian singer-songwriters. 2023 marks 13 years of a successful career: 7 studio albums that have gone platinum 69 times and reached more than 1.8 billion streams, plus 9 live tours. The San Siro stadium in Milan, which sold out with 56,000 spectators, was one of the highlights of last summer. Marco Mengoni now arrives as part of a short European flying visit to Frankfurt (27 April) and Zurich (29 April). Tickets for the two concerts are available from 24 March, 10.00 am.

Marco triumphed at Sanremo 2023, the most important Italian music festival and the most watched television event in Italy, with “Due Vite”, his winning song, which was also awarded Best Composition. He also won a cover night with an incredible version of “Let It Be” together with the Kingdom Choir. In doing so, he repeated the first victory he had achieved 10 years earlier with “L'essenziale”, a multi-platinum release that marked a milestone in Mengoni's career.
Over the course of his career, Marco Mengoni has received several international awards, including two for Best European Act (2010 and 2015) and three for Best Italian Act (2010, 2013 and 2015) at the MTV European Awards. In 2015 he was the first Italian artist to perform at the Billboard Film & TV Music Conference in Los Angeles, as well as the first and only one to perform on the MTV World Stage in Milan. In 2019 he won the Italian X Factor. His duets with many Italian and international artists also stand out, including “Tom Walker”, “Paloma Faith”, “Vanessa Da Mata”, “Lucio Dalla”, “Adriano Celentano”, “Giorgia”.
His latest studio album, Materia-Pelle, is the second chapter of the multi-platinum trilogy Materia, a musical journey that began with Materia-Terra in December 2021. The final chapter of this trilogy opens with the first single “Due Vite”. Half a dozen concerts in Italian stadiums are scheduled for the summer, with a unique finale at the Circo Massimo in Rome on 15 July.
