Cult pianist and composer LUDOVICO EINAUDI and his ensemble will give two concerts on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 June 2023 at 8 pm at the Théâtre du Léman. Ludovico Einaudi will present the repertoire of his new album Underwater together with some of his hit pieces.
Born in 1955, Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer and pianist acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. A graduate of the Milan Conservatory and a pupil of Luciano Berio, he has created a much-loved style. His hit albums have been used for numerous soundtracks. Ludovico Einaudi's art of seducing with music is phenomenal. Swinging between minimalist clarity and bewitching fullness, melancholic calm and stormy exuberance, he creates soundscapes that draw his listeners into a world of dreams and colours. No wonder the modest artist enjoys great success as a film composer ("Intouchables", "Samba", "Nomadland" or "The Father"), which he documented impressively on his album "Cinema".
His new album "Underwater 2" will be released in March 2023 before Ludovico sets off again on long concert tours.
On 27 and 28 June Ludovico Einaudi will give his two Swiss concerts at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
