From 21 to 23 June 2019, on the grounds of the Stadionbrache Hardturm in Zurich, the most eagerly awaited annual food event in Zurich returns. More than 45 stands spread across the square will be ready to let you savour and taste the delicacies of typical Italian cuisine.

The big novelty this year: on Saturday 22 June the first Pizzaiolo Swiss Cup will take place. 60 professional pizza makers will compete in three different categories under the watchful eye of 12 exceptional judges who have come especially from Italy. Their task will be to award, on Sunday, the winner, who will then go on to the international category contest in Naples.
The guest of honour on the jury will be Luciano Sorbillo, owner of several prestigious pizzerias across the Italian peninsula and known throughout the world as the king of Neapolitan pizza. During the competition it will be possible to taste the delicious slices of pizza that our expert pizza makers pull out of the oven during the contest.
There will be no shortage of rides and attractions for children and, thanks to the setting up of a bouncy castle, fun is guaranteed.
The CONI delegation will have its own space dedicated to sporting activities, where children and youngsters can enjoy football, basketball and sprint racing. The folk band “I Ssamiti” will play live and roam the square, striking up the music of the Italian tradition that will brighten this fabulous weekend in the spirit of celebration and joy, getting everyone dancing to the beat of pizzica and tarantella. Lovers of good Italian beer will also be able to sample the different types of beer thanks to the official drinks supplier Birra Moretti.
