A triumph of Italian tradition, of famous songs known to us all, which recall childhood, youth, carefree days and the desire to love and to live, as well as pride in our great nation. With Al Bano and Romina Power, Ricchi e Poveri, Alice and Drupi, some of the greatest stars of Italian music who make hearts beat faster with their songs, they will be on the stage of the Hallenstadion in Zurich for “La Notte Italiana”. This stellar line-up is led by the duo Al Bano and Romina Power, who have conquered the whole world with their Italo-Pop.
Albano Carrisi is one of the best-known faces of the Italian music scene, a true self-made man who, born in Apulia into a family of humble origins, moved to Milan with the calling to become a singer. And his was undoubtedly an extraordinary success, which made him one of the most famous and beloved faces of Italian music, not only here but all over the world! In 1970 one of the most famous weddings in the music world took place: that between Albano Carrisi and Romina Power. The two met on the set of the film “Il Sole” and got married; they made their debut together with the duet album “Storia di Due Innamorati”. The record marked the couple's popularity, and they would work side by side for almost thirty years, known to the public as the duo “Al Bano e Romina”. Between them there would always be a great understanding, which would show not only in their emotional life but also professionally: the couple indeed produced some of the most famous pieces of Italian music, first of all the great hit “Felicità”. Their subsequent records became famous in Italy, but also abroad. They released “Dialogo” in 1975 and took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 with the song “We'll Live It All Again”. They sang “Sharazan” in 1981 and the following year took part in the Festival di Sanremo with the song “Felicità” in 1982, which came second. They won first prize in 1984 singing “Ci sarà” and again took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 with “Magic Oh Magic”. Among the other hits of the 80s we recall: “Nostalgia canaglia”, awarded 3rd place at the Festival di Sanremo '87, and “Libertà”. These successful songs were followed by “Cara terra mia”, which came third at the Festival di Sanremo 1989. Al Bano e Romina, after mending their relationship following the end of their marriage, returned to perform together in a series of concerts in Italy and around the world.

The Ricchi e Poveri formed in Genoa in 1967. The original members are indeed: Franco Gatti, Angela Brambati, Marina Occhiena and Angelo Sotgiu. They are among the Italian artists with the highest number of records sold: with more than 22 million copies, they are the second best-selling Italian group, behind the Pooh, who rank first. From this original four-voice line-up they then moved to the trio, the formula with which the Ricchi e Poveri became famous, until only two members remained: Angelo Sotgiu and Angela Brambati. Between the 70s and 80s some of their singles became sales champions, topping the domestic charts. Who does not remember “La prima cosa bella”, “Che sarà”, “Sarà perché ti amo”, “Mamma Maria” and “Voulez vous danser?”. They represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1978 with the song “Questo amore” and took part in numerous editions of the Festival di Sanremo, finishing second twice, in 1970 and 1971, and first in 1985 with the track “Se m'innamoro”. Moreover, some of their tracks, including “Come vorrei”, “Piccolo amore”, “Coriandoli su di noi”, were chosen as theme tunes for popular television programmes. In 2020, at the Festival di Sanremo, all four reunited to perform the most famous songs of their career.
Alice Visconti, whose real name is Carla Bissi, is a singer-songwriter born on 26 September 1954 in Forlì. From a young age she was passionate about music, studying singing and piano. She began to make her way in the late Sixties by taking part in various contests dedicated to new voices. In 1971 she won the Festival di Castrocaro for new talents, performing a great hit by the Pooh, “Tanta voglia di lei”. This victory took her the following year to the Festival di Sanremo, where she sang the track “Il mio cuore se ne va”. In 1975 she released her first album “La mia poca grande età” under the new name chosen by her producer. She had an extraordinary musical career and achieved many successes, first among them the victory at the Festival di Sanremo in 1981 with the track written with Franco Battiato, “Per Elisa”. So began her golden period, as she continued to release new songs such as “Messaggio”, “Chanson egocentrique”, “I treni di Tozeur”, “Notte a Roma”, “Nomadi” and many others. In the mid-80s, at the height of her popularity, she left the world of light pop songs to make the music she liked. After that she made a very bold choice: to give up “easy” success for a niche career, typical of those who write songs out of pure love for music. Recently she went on tour with Franco Battiato and took part in the Festival di Sanremo in 2018 in a duet with Ron, with the previously unreleased track by Lucio Dalla “Almeno pensami”.
Giampiero Anelli was born in Pavia in 1947. Already at 15 he performed in the dance halls around Pavia. With the group Le Calamite he played for a couple of summers, while in winter he worked as a plumber. His recording debut came in 1970, when he released his first single, “Che ti costa”. In 1973 he took part in the Festival di Sanremo with “Vado via” and finished last, but the song became a hit. Other chart tracks followed: “Sereno è” from 1974, “Piccola e fragile” from 1975, “Sambariò”, presented at the Festival di Sanremo in 1976. “Due” is the song with which he won the Festivalbar in 1977; other very famous songs followed, such as: “Come va” from 1978, “Bella bellissima” from 1979 and “La mia canzone al vento” from 1980. In 1982 he took third place at the Festival di Sanremo with “Soli”. In 1983 the artist's ninth album, “Canta”, was released; the following year he returned to the charts with the Sanremo track “Regalami un sorriso” and again in 1985 he appeared at Sanremo with “Fammi volare”. He would return to Sanremo in 1988 with “Era bella davvero”, in 1992 with “Un uomo in più” and in 1995 with “Voglio una donna”. In the meantime he won vast popularity in the Eastern European countries, where he is still today one of the most appreciated singers, and success later came in France too. In 2003 he had the honour of singing in the Clock Square in Prague.
