Surrounded by the affection and the warmth of his fans, NEK will once again bring all his energy and all his grit to the live stage, retracing his incredible career in the dimension that has always managed to bring out his essence as an artist at its best: the stage. After the great response to the announcement of the only live date of 2022, held to celebrate 30 years of artistic career and his 50th birthday, on 11 December at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan, in 2023 NEK Filippo Neviani will bring the celebrations to the cities of Bologna, Rome and Turin as well, with “50|30 – LIVE”.

Filippo Neviani was born in Sassuolo (Modena) on 6 January 1972 . Already at the age of nine he has his first encounters with drums and guitar. In the second half of the Eighties his search for an expressive identity begins: after the basement rehearsals with the country group Winchester he tastes his first fame, albeit limited to the province, with the melodic rock band White Lady. And in 1991 he comes second at the Castrocaro Festival, which at the time was a genuine springboard for emerging artists.
1992 - He makes his debut under the stage name NEK and his first, self-titled album is released.
1993 - He takes part in the Sanremo Festival in the newcomers' category with the song “In te”, which addresses the theme of abortion (drawing on the real experience of a musician friend) with the great love for life that continues to characterise his compositions. “In te” is also the title of his second album, on which he reinterprets the song “Figli di chi”, written by him and taken to the 1993 Sanremo competition by Mietta.
1994 - He releases his third record “Calore Umano” and comes second at the Festival Italiano hosted by Mike Bongiorno with “Angeli nel ghetto”. Also in 1994 comes his first prestigious accolade: together with Giorgia he wins the European Prize as best young Italian singer. Nek takes an important step forward on his path of artistic maturing: over the next two years, spent recording demos, his vocal talent is refined and leaves an indelible mark on the new songs, which begin to take shape with strongly international sonic accents and lyrics that tell everyday reality in an essential way, through personal experiences or experiences that in some way involved Filippo.
1997 - He signs a contract with WEA and takes part in the Sanremo Festival with “Laura non c’è”, included on the album “Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto”, which wins 6 Platinum records, passing 600,000 copies sold. He takes part in the Festivalbar and with “Laura no esta” conquers the European and Latin market, becoming an international artist with 2 million copies sold worldwide.
1998 - The album “In due” is released in Europe, Latin America and Japan, and the single “Se io non avessi te” is for 4 months one of the most played songs on Italian radio. Nek is in the Top 20 of the sales chart with two albums at the same time
1999 - Tour in Italy, Europe and South America
2000 - The sixth album “La vita è” is released, marked by the brilliance of its artistic choices, the variety of its content, the quality of the musical project and the disarming effectiveness of the compositions. Nek is not looking for revolutions but for the perfecting of every artist's mission: to reach people's hearts with beautiful songs and positive messages.
2002 - “Le cose da difendere” is released worldwide, driven by the single “Sei solo tu”. The record contains eleven new tracks in which Nek presents himself in the new guise of a more mature singer-songwriter.
2003 - His first best of, “Nek The Best of… L’anno zero”, is released, the sum of ten years of career and great successes, with the best of the seven previous albums and the two new tracks “Almeno stavolta” and “L’anno zero”. The compilation sells 250,000 copies in Italy, entering straight at the top of the chart, where it stays for 27 weeks (the first 13 weeks in the top ten).
2005 - The album “Una parte di me” is released, containing “Lascia che io sia”, with which he wins the Festivalbar and stays for 20 weeks in the top 10 of the singles most played on radio and for 1 year among the ten best-selling singles.
2006 - With the album “Nella stanza 26” comes another great success, reaching the top positions of the Italian radio and sales charts, and with it he wins the “Premio Lunezia - Poesia del Rock 2007”, within the Premio Lunezia, for his talent for storytelling through rock.
2007 - He sings a duet with El Sueno De Morfeo on “Para ti Seria”, which becomes the number 1 single of the Spanish market.
2008- He takes part in Craig David's record on the single “Walking Away”
2009 - The album of new songs “Un’altra direzione” is released, previewed on radio by the single “La voglia che non vorrei”, which immediately climbs the sales charts. Throughout 2009 he is on tour in Italy and abroad.
2010 - “E da qui- Greatest hits 1992-2010” is released, 2 CDs with 36 tracks, including 3 new ones and his greatest hits. A successful tour follows, which sees him on stage in Italy and abroad.
2013 - For the first time one of his albums takes its title from his own name: “Filippo Neviani”
2015 - He takes part in the Sanremo Festival after 18 years with the song “Fatti avanti amore”, with which he wins the “Premio Miglior Arrangiamento”, the “Premio Sala Stampa Radio-Tv” and the “Premio speciale per la canzone più radiofonica”, and comes second in the general classification. He wins the cover night with “Se telefonando”. The album “Prima di Parlare” is released and reaches Platinum certification. The same year the book “Lettera a mia figlia sull’amore” is published
2016 - He takes part in the programme “Amici” on Canale 5 as Artistic Director and his thirteenth album of new songs, “Unici”, is released.
2017 - He is the most played Italian artist on radio with the four singles taken from “Unici”: “Uno di questi giorni”, “Unici”, “Differente” and “Freud” in a duet with J-Ax. In spring “Unici in Tour” sets off from the theatres and then stops with a sold-out concert at the Arena di Verona, continuing in summer in striking Italian locations.
2018 - He is the star of an extraordinarily successful tour with his friends and colleagues Max Pezzali and Francesco Renga. The “Max Nek Renga” tour continues until the summer with 35 dates and is certified Platinum for Live at the Wind Music Awards.
2019 - He takes part in the 69th Sanremo Festival with the song “Mi farò trovare pronto”, which previews the album of new songs “Il mio gioco preferito – parte prima”, the first chapter of a new recording project. For the first time he hosts a radio programme, “Alza la radio”, on Rai Radio 2. He returns live with a concert event at the Arena di Verona and in autumn “Il mio gioco preferito – European tour” officially begins, taking him to the stages of the great European cities and to the main theatres all over Italy for more than 30 dates until 2020.
2020 - “Il mio gioco preferito – Parte Seconda” is released, previewed by the single “Perdonare” and presented the day after the lockdown with a streaming concert from the main square of Sassuolo. In summer he goes on tour on his own for the first time, guitar and voice, in support of the fund for entertainment workers of “Music Innovation Hub”, and makes his debut as a television host on Rai1 with the special “Seat Music Awards – Viaggio nella musica”.
2021 - In the first months of 2021 he returns to hosting, on television and on radio: on Rai1 he is the face of “Da noi a ruota libera”, the Sunday afternoon show; on Rai Radio2 he hosts 5 special episodes of “Alza la radio – Io tra di voi”. In summer the single “Un’estate normale” is released and he sets off on an acoustic tour across Italy. September will see him once again in the spotlight on Rai1 hosting the third episode of the “Seat Music Awards”.
2022 - On 6 January he turns 50, and a few days later the book “A mani nude” is published. For Rai Due he hosts the television show “Dalla strada al palco”, 4 prime-time episodes that are very well received by audiences and critics. In September he will be engaged, for the third consecutive time, in hosting the third episode of the “Music Awards”. 2022 is the year in which Nek will celebrate 30 years of career.
